This photo was taken from the summit of Flattop Mountain, facing Hallett Peak. My brother and I had decided that we wanted to take at least one hike while we were in RMNP that would really allow us to experience the park to a greater extent than the shorter trails would allow, and we decided on the Flattop Mountain/Hallett Peak hike. It was a great experience, and yielded many great photos. I like this one because it provides a unique view of Hallett, and the orange warning sign in the foreground provides some interesting contrast and perspective. (Photo taken in late September, 2005)
