Weathered Roots - I am almost always shoot color film but in this shot of the root system of a fallen pine, color seemed distracting, so I converted it to grayscale. The fallen pine is on the trail to Dream Lake, as you go around Nymph Lake and start to climb. Taken about 2pm with a Nikon N75 SLR, 28-80zoom and polarizer filter on Kodak 400 Max color film.
